I specialize in treating women's issues, relationship concerns, and eating disorders as well as treating stress/anxiety, depression, and life transition issues. I have a special interest in working with college students, young professionals, and new moms. I am also available for supervision and consultation for pre-licensed (LPC/Psychologist) and new professionals.

Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jennifer received her BA in Psychology and her MEd in Counseling from the University of Oklahoma. She earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2006. She completed her APA-Accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship in university counseling at the University of Pennsylvania and she completed a post-doctoral fellowship in student counseling and disability services at the University of Southern California. She has spent 10+years in university counseling centers, most recently at SMU where she was a Senior Staff Psychologist. Prior to being at SMU, Jennifer lived in New York City and served as a staff psychologist and the coordinator of training at William Paterson University in New Jersey. Within college counseling, she enjoyed the focus on eating disorder treatment, college mental health, and supervision and training of future professionals in psychology, but she practiced with a more generalist approach providing treatment for the full spectrum of psychological difficulties.
Jennifer has been in private practice since 2012. Her clinical areas of interest include anxiety disorders, women’s issues, infertility concerns, eating concerns and mindful eating, and relational issues. She very much enjoys working with young professionals, new mothers or soon to be mothers, women and college students. Jennifer provides assessments for ADHD as well as pre-surgical assessments for bariatric surgery. She is also an adjunct instructor at Seton Hall University in their online Master’s Degree program in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling.
