Lauren is supervised by Keri Stitt,LPC-S. She utilizes a Choice Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, helping individuals and groups create stronger relationships and improve upon their personal reflection. She specializes in working with adolescents, teens, and young adults on the spectrum, as well as group therapy.

Lauren Roth is a recent graduate of the University of North Texas (UNT), where she earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Lauren utilizes a Choice Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, helping individuals and groups create stronger relationships and improve upon their personal reflection. She also has an interest and passion for helping athletes using motivational and sports psychology techniques. Lauren has worked in several mental health settings, including a psychiatric inpatient hospital, psychiatric outpatient clinic, domestic violence women’s shelter, UNT Community Clinic, and several non-profits in Dallas. Throughout these roles, she counseled individuals and groups with various social and mental health needs. Her longest previous tenure was employed at The Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, working to change the scene of substance abuse in the Dallas Fort Worth region.
Currently Lauren spends her time outside of Upside Therapy working at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute as an Evaluation Project Manager; here she strives to improve mental health for individuals in the State of Texas. Lauren graduated Phi Betta Kappa with her Bachelor of Science in Psychological Sciences at Purdue University.
